Edward Jiang — CEO — Board Chair — University of Washington ‘13
A graduating senior at Interlake High School, Edward Jiang is one of the biggest advocates of StudentRND, and possesses all the necessary qualifications to run it. Not afraid to tackle the gruntwork, he manages everything from accounting to public relations to engineering, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and no responsibilities are left unaccounted for. Edward started his interest in technology when he built his first computer at the age of 8. Shortly after at the age of 11, he earned the A+ professional certification. When he turned 14, he started working at Voice Box Technologies as a Assistant Systems Administrator. In high school, Edward started developing his leadership skills and joined “Future Business Leaders of America”, only to win 3rd place nationally in “Networking Concepts” (2008). Nonetheless, these leadership skills allowed him to lead the Interlake Robotics team to the Vex Worlds competition finalists the very next year. These accomplishments give him the skills and the drive he needs to carry StudentRND to success. In his spare time, Edward enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking and reading books.
